By downloading, installing, or using any Murika application (Murika Farmer App, Murika Agent App, Murika Logistics App) or by accessing our website at murika.co.rw, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Murika Ltd, a company registered in Rwanda ("Murika", "we", "our", or "us"). We may update these Terms from time to time; your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years old

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

• All information you provide during registration is accurate and current

• You will maintain the accuracy of such information

Murika reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these eligibility requirements.

Murika operates a digital agricultural marketplace that includes:

Murika Marketplace (Farmer App): Enables farmers to list produce, manage stock, receive orders, and connect with buyers across Rwanda.

Murika Agent App: Enables field agents to conduct farm site visits, verify farmer profiles and stock, and submit reports through the platform.

Murika Logistics App: Enables truck drivers and logistics coordinators to manage deliveries, track shipments in real time, and handle freight documentation.

Murika Website: Provides company information, support resources, and access to platform services.

Murika acts as an intermediary platform. We do not own, buy, or sell agricultural produce directly, and we are not a party to transactions between farmers and buyers unless explicitly stated.

Registration: You must create an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at info@murika.co.rw if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

One Account Per User: You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

Farmer Listings: Farmers who list produce on Murika represent and warrant that they are the legitimate owners or authorised sellers of the listed produce, that all information (quantity, quality, price, location) is accurate, and that the produce complies with applicable Rwandan food safety and agricultural regulations.

Agent Verification: Site visits conducted by Murika agents are intended to verify the accuracy of farmer profiles and stock. Murika makes no guarantee that all listings have been agent-verified. Buyers are encouraged to review verification status before placing orders.

Prohibited Listings: You may not list produce that is counterfeit, stolen, unsafe for consumption, or otherwise illegal under Rwandan law.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions: Certain premium features within our apps may require an active subscription. Where offered, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Subscription Details: Each subscription offer clearly states the title, billing period, and price. You will be charged through your App Store account upon confirmation of purchase.

Cancellation: You may cancel a subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Price Changes: We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price changes. Your continued subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Payments Between Users: Murika may facilitate payment flows between buyers and sellers. Transaction fees, if applicable, will be disclosed before you confirm a transaction.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Rwandan law

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account

• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the platform

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our applications

• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature

• Circumvent or manipulate the platform's fee or rating systems

• Impersonate Murika staff, agents, or other users

All content on the Murika platform — including but not limited to the logo, brand name, app interfaces, text, graphics, and software — is the property of Murika Ltd and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Murika content without our prior written permission.

By submitting content to the platform (such as produce photos or profile images), you grant Murika a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MURIKA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Murika does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Services. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of produce listings or the conduct of any user on the platform.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MURIKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF MURIKA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Murika's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Murika in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Rwanda.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, via email or in-app notification. Changes become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
